Fans of Brandy Norwood and Monica Brown have once again ignited the decade-long feud of these two singers! The online feud reportedly started when Monica's fans criticized Brandy for her seemingly "self-centered" birthday greetings to whitney houston on Wednesday.

Brandy and Monica honor Whitney Houston on her 54th birthday

The "Angel Of Mine" singer was the first to honor the late icon by uploading a black and white photo of Whitney Houston and wrote, "Happy Heavenly Birthday Nippy. You still inspire many & touch hearts daily. You will forever be the greatest.

You will forever be missed."

Brandy, on the other hand, shared a collage of her photos with Whitney Houston and expressed her gratitude and love for the legendary singer. "You live on in me. I can feel your spirit inside of me and all around me... I love you forever. Thank you for trusting me with the torch," she captioned the post.

The internet reignites feud between Brandy and Monica

Monica's supporters were quick to notice the difference between the two posts and started to slam Brandy for her "self-centered" birthday greetings.

Shortly after she drew backlash for her "self-centered" greetings to Whitney Houston, Brandy uploaded a solo photo of the late icon and thanked her for inspiring a lot of people through her music.

She also called out Monica to "check her evil fans" who have been bombarding her with hate comments on social media. "Always thinking something is about her. It's not!" Brandy denied.

Brandy claimed that she and the late singer "made history" and that she valued everything they have done together more than anything else. "I'm heartbroken that she isn't here and the things I say about her are my true feelings and based on the things she said to me," she went on.

The "Have You Ever" artist went on with her rant and asked Monica's fans to "come get [their] hating ass pigeons and put them in their place the way I did for you when the starz was out of place," she said.

Monica, on the other hand, has said in her previous interview that she has no problem with Brandy. In fact, she even commended her co-singer for her talent. "I've always thought that she's one of the most legendary people and has one of the most amazing voices," she said.

When asked if she is open to working with Brandy, Monica explained that their situation has never been easy but added that she is not ruling out the possibility of a potential collaboration in the future. "The reason I would do it is because we are from a special elite group. It was her, Aaliyah and myself. It was a very special time where each of us was individuals," she mused.
