June Shannon bragged up her total makeover after bariatric surgery and skin removal plastic surgery. But it seems she neglected to upgrade her social skills. Viewers' toes curled as they watched June creep out her date. Shannon bragged to have lost "bad men" and weight. But until she makes over those shocking "redneck" manners, folks doubt she'll ever find a relationship.
Mama June unrecognizable after gastric bypass surgery
The "From Not to Hot" star promises that even her kids don't recognize her after this big makeover. She's been dieting, exercising and has undergone weight loss surgery. At first people wondered if Honey Boo Boo's mom meant bariatric surgery but that didn't seem to fit. Then they wondered if it was some kind of plastic surgery. Turns out it was both. The former "Toddlers & Tiaras" pageant mom had a gastric sleeve placed in her stomach in 2015. Since then, June's lost enough weight to qualify for skin removal surgery (a kind of tummy tuck) to tighten up loose skin.
Kardashian-size Mama June makes a hit
Yes, you read that correctly. Mama June is supposedly a size 4, around the size of Kim Kardashian, after morbid obesity.
June has a personal trainer and as viewers have seen on "From Not to Hot," has cleaned up her eating habits. It was noted that obese daughter Honey Boo Boo has not. The Georgia mom tried for a tummy tuck on "Botched" and reportedly had breast implant and chin removal procedures. One commenter on the reality TV clip quipped that even after a facial surgery, Mama June still has "more chins than a Chinese phonebook."
