Rockstar Games took to its official Twitter account to tease an announcement for its forthcoming Western action-adventure video game, “Red Dead Redemption 2.” The announcement could be the official release date of the video game.

The studio tweeted an image that mentioned the date and time of September 28, at 11 a.m. ET with a background that appears to link to the new sequel. GameSpot reported that the video game company has teased about a major event that would set the launch date of the “Red Dead Redemption 2” in the second quarter of 2018. While the teaser of the video game did not specify anything, the videogame company might be unleashing new details about the title, such as its gameplay.

Game modes

Game enthusiasts are also hoping that Rockstar Games will reveal possible game modes in the forthcoming title. Nonetheless, the announcement might be related to the protagonists of the video game, which is expected to be three.

PC version

However, PC Gamer pointed out that the “Red Dead Redemption 2” teaser could be an announcement that the video game will be available for PC. The video game company previously revealed that the sequel will be available on Microsoft's Xbox One and Sony’s PlayStation 4 spring of next year. Regarding the PC version of the game, Take-Two stated that the studio would allow their labels to do the reveal.

Take-Two president Karl Slatoff recognized the PC industry’s potential.

For example, the studio originally launched the action-adventure video game, “Grand Theft Auto,” exclusively for gaming consoles, but was later rolled out to PC.

The Take-Two president stated that a significant portion of the company’s earnings are due to its PC sales. Slatoff also said that the PC industry is very good business for their company.

Red Dead Redemption” enthusiasts are definitely excited about the studio’s latest teaser for the game. The company’s Twitter post has been retweeted 37,000 times and has 87,000 likes compared to an average Twitter post of 2,000 likes and 1,000 retweets.

However, the video game has been delayed from its 2017 original release date to spring of next year (2018).

At the time of announcing the delay, the studio expressed their regret for pushing back the game's release, explaining that the company needed extra time to polish it and make it ready for release. In spite of that, gamers believe that their patience will be rewarded by the studio generously.
