Bangladesh to free former PM Khaleda Zia for six months from prison

Khaleda Zia, the former PM of Bangladesh will be temporarily released from jail for six months, the countries law minister Anisul Huq said. Earlier, the court had denied allowing her to go to London for treatment. Twice she was the PM and leader of the opposition of Bangladesh. The authorities have put the condition that she will not be allowed to leave the country and have to live at her Dhaka residence. There were more than 30 corruption-related cases against her.
