Now air trips can be beautiful and arty thanks to the introduction of style statement. The Taiwanese airline Eva Air now flies to Chicago with its official quirky hello kitty themed carrier service. The airline painted a colorful Hello Kitty themed cartoon on the outside of its Boeing 777-300ER as part of its cooperation with the Japanese animation studio Sanrio. The Eva Hello Kitty themed airplanes will fly travelers from Chicago and the Midwest in the US to north-east and south-East Asian countries including China, while the passengers are surrounded by charming animated characters.

Colourful and quirky flight regimen

Even the airline staff in the cabin wear freaky Hello Kitty themed uniforms and paraphernalia. The theme is colourfully presented inside the airplane as well with the iconic logo appearing in head rests, pillows, air bags, and even toilet paper. During meals, fans can eat on fried vegetables and other foods shaped and presented like the famous cat of Hello Kitty theme. The level of detail and quirky presentation on the flights has earned warm reviews from frequent fliers who want to have some fun on their trip. The inaugural flight Shining Star flew from O Hare international airport in Chicago last month. The addition of three new "Hello Kitty" flights between Chicago and Taipei increases the frequency of this route to daily service during peak summer months.

Innovative themes and style services

Hello Kitty is however not the only fun theme one can notice in the airplanes and the sky. Canadian airline West Jet has painted an airplane with the Frozen Disney theme while the Star Wars mascot and theme appears in flights of the Japanese Nippon Airways. To release the second film of The Hobbit, Air New Zealand also painted the dragon Smaug on one of its planes.

Eva Airlines plans to present a total of four new themes this year, including Friendship Bows, which will be launched later this month. In Chicago, Eva offers three options in the cabin, the Queen's Laurel Business class, the elite economy, and the economy. Passengers in the royal Laurel class receive flat seats and Rimowa accreditation kits.

The elite class has extra rooms, convenience kits, comfortable blankets and pillows, and a private cabin.

In Hello Kitty planes, travelers can experience the warm and friendly service of Eva staff, delectable food from the eastern and western countries, besides entertainment systems including internet. Eva is currently flying six planes, specially painted, on routes in Asia and also to Paris, and now in Chicago. The other Hello Kitty themes appearing in Eva Air include hand in hand, a joyful dream, and celebration flight all to stimulate the joy of flying airplanes.
