huawei is working towards the launch of its Mate line-up. The company will be seen taking the wraps off its Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro (speculated) at an event on October 16. There are now rumors regarding another handset from Huawei, a report by GSMArena reads. The smartphone has appeared on the official TENAA website. It is carrying the model-number, “HUAWEI RNE – A 100.” There isn’t much one can guess about the device on the basis of its model number.

The device leaked online

There are a couple of images that have been posted on the TENAA website, according to a report by BGR.

On the basis of these images, it appears that the handset is built out of metal. The fingerprint scanner is visibly placed on the rear panel. The physical buttons, comprising of power buttons and volume up/down buttons, are located on the right-hand side of the smartphone. Meanwhile, the SIM card slot is located on the left-hand side of the device. The HUAWEI RNE – A 100 features a dual rear camera setup. Huawei is going to experiment with a large-screen handset this time as HUAWEI RNE – A 100 packs a 5.9-inch full HD + screen with 2,160 x 1,080 pixels resolution. This is further complimented by an Aspect Ratio of 18:9. Most of the previous Huawei models are known to carry a maximum of a 5.9-inch display with an aspect ratio that extends up to 16:9.

There’s definitely a massive upgrade in terms of display.

According to a report by Techandroid, the smartphone is shown to offer 4GB of RAM along with 64GB of inbuilt storage. Users will also be provided with the option of expanding the memory up to 256GB via its microSD card-slot option.

The smartphone is powered by an octa-core processor, believed to be Huawei’s HiSilicon Kirin (clocked at 2.36GHz). The smartphone houses a 3,240mAh battery and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with the company’s proprietary Emotion UI (EMUI) skin on top. Another major highlight is the handset is its Dual Front camera setup which comes with a 13-megapixel and a 2-megapixel sensor.

This is further accompanied by an LED flash. The official Huawei logo is placed both, in front and rear panels. Huawei will launch two primary color variants: Gold and Blue with its smartphone. The release date and price of the alleged smartphone is not known yet. It remains to be seen whether the company brings the handset internationally as well, stay tuned for more.
