Apple's CEO, Tim Cook, unveiled the newest Apple Watch series, consisting of two versions: Apple Watch Series 3 GPS + Cellular and Apple Watch Series 3 GPS on Tuesday at their new state-of-the-art campus in Cupertino, California. The features, release dates, and market prices were revealed.

The newest Apple watches comes with two versions, and they are virtually identical in size and style to their predecessors. One version comes with LTE wireless connectivity while the other one has only 4G connectivity. It also has a new, red digital crown and signal meter, as well as a built-in barometric altimeter.

Color options include a gold aluminum finish, plus silver and space gray.

Features, specs, and style of the newest watch

One version of the watch is equipped with LTE wireless connectivity which can be used without an iPhone. It can make and receive calls, and send messages directly from the watch by tapping a button on the top-left corner of the watch face. From there, you can browse contacts through favorites, recent, contacts, and the keypad. You can also stream music while you are on the run. Meanwhile, the 4G version of the watch can also make and receive calls, send text messages, and stream music, but needs an iPhone.

Both of the versions have fast s3 dual core processors and w2 Apple wireless chips, the feature Siri can speak and they are water resistant up to 50 meters.

They both have second-generation OLED Retina display with Force touch and Ion-X glass (aluminum cases). The LTE version of the watch has 16gb memory and while the 4G version has only 8gb memory and is not LTE powered.

There's a new gold aluminum finish, along with silver and space black stainless steel, and a new Sports Loop that Apple describes as light, stretchy and breathable.

There are new Nike Plus colors, and new Hermes watch face styles and bands. Finally, Apple has supplemented the classic (and rather expensive) white ceramic watch with a new dark gray ceramic model. This is paired with a new two-tone Sports Band.

It is said that the battery life of both watches is up to 18 hours, but reports said that the battery life of LTE version could only last up to one hour when you make and receive calls.
