Xiaomi is expected to roll out the Redmi Pro 2 Android Smartphone anytime soon. Although some of Redmi Pro 2’s specs had shortly appeared on the tech giant’s website last month, but recent reports now give tech fans a hint at some of the specs that can be expected from Xiaomi’s upcoming mobile device.
Xiaomi’s highly anticipated mobile device made a buzz on the internet for quite a while now. The Redmi Pro 2 is expected to come along with some important hardware improvements. Wherein, more details about the mobile device have surfaced online. Nonetheless, Gizchina, a Chinese phone blog site, has obtained a list of the specs and features of the forthcoming smartphone.
It seems like the mobile device won't have much of an upgrade.
Android smartphone’s expected display
The original Redmi Pro smartphone came along with an OLED display, and most likely, the upcoming device could also feature a Full HD with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, along with an aspect ratio of 18:9. Xiaomi's upcoming Android smartphone is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 chipset, backed up with a 4GB of RAM. The upcoming Android smartphone will boast a 4,050mAh battery.
Features of the device
Reports are also mounting up on the internet claiming that the mobile device will be available in multiple variants, the 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage, and the 6GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage.
Although there’s no official announcement regarding the price of the device, the 4GB of RAM with 64GB storage option variant might cost 2,299 Yuan, approximately $338, while the 6GB of RAM with 128GB storage option variant may be available at 2799 Yuan, approximately $412.
Camera specs
In terms of the camera specs, the Upcoming Smartphone is anticipated to retain the dual-camera setup on the back, just like last year's model.
The upcoming Android smartphone may arrive with a combination of Sony’s 12MP IMX362 main sensor, and Samsung’s 5MP S5K4E8 secondary shooter on the back. Aside from the 16MP Samsung S5K3P8 sensor on the front for selfies, the upcoming device is also expected to have Gyroscope, Accelerometer, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi.
Furthermore, reports seem to claim that the consumer electronics company have recruited the Canadian-Chinese actor, Wu Yifan, as the brand ambassador for the upcoming device. At the moment, the company is yet to pitch in the release date of the smartphone, but tech experts are anticipating the Redmi Pro 2 will roll out this month.
