HMD Global late last week made an announcement, stating that they plan on launching their Nokia 6 smartphone in the US markets by the beginning of July. As per their announcement, the smartphone will be available for purchase via Amazon. However, the company didn't provide any information on exactly which date the smartphone will be available for sale, well, that is left for the fans to guess. A new online report has revealed one of the major color variants that the Nokia 6 is expected to arrive in.
Two color options with Nokia 6
As noted by Android Headlines, the current Amazon listing regarding the Nokia 6 smartphone only includes two color variants: Black And Silver.
The smartphone has been suggested by Amazon to start shipping, starting July 10. However, thanks to another online leak, it doesn’t look like the Nokia 6 will only arrive in two color variants. The smartphone is also expected to come in a new Copper color variant as well. The report further suggests that the smartphone in its full-fledged copper color variant will only arrive by August. As per the information provided on Amazon, the Nokia 6 smartphone will come in the Copper color variant, starting August 18.
Price of the smartphone
The Nokia 6 smartphone is already available for pre-orders. The prices start at $299 in the US markets. Additionally, Amazon has also made its "Prime Exclusive Model" available for interested buyers.
The Prime Exclusive Nokia 6 model comes packed with several exciting lock-screen offers and ads by the e-commerce tech-giant. Readers are advised to note that $299 is the price of the standard variant of the smartphone. The chances of the Copper color variant of the phone are probably higher. The report suggests that the Copper color variant may be priced around $179.99 higher than its standard variant.
The device, apart from being available for sale on Amazon, will also be listed on other websites including T-Mobile and AT&T networks.
On the specification front, the smartphone features a 5.5-inch Full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixel resolution) display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 64-bit Octa-core processor. The smartphone further packs 3GB of RAM along with 32GB of internal storage.
