Lenovo-backed Motorola is expected to introduce a refreshed Moto G5S Plus smartphone soon. Just ahead of the launch, a source has leaked a camera-shot of the final version of the upcoming Moto G5S Plus smartphone. The leaked image reveals that the handset will pack a dual Rear Camera set-up.

What leaks suggest?

Occasional leakster TechDroider, took to Twitter earlier this weekend to post an alleged image of the upcoming Moto G5S Plus smartphone. The image provides key details regarding the smartphone’s specifications. It goes without saying that the leaked image also provides hardware information about the upcoming device as well.

It's believed that the smartphone is going to pack a dual rear-camera set-up. Not only this but the device can also be seen sporting a Flash Screen Mode right next to the camera module. On the software front, the smartphone is known to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 processor along with 64-bit ARM Cortex A53 506 GPU for graphics. Motorola it seems, have especially concentrated on the device’s power, battery life, and durability.

Rumored specs and rumors

The smartphone is expected to offer 4GB of RAM along with 32GB of internal storage for users. The smartphone, it seems, will be available only in European, Middle-Eastern and African markets for now. As mentioned previously, TechDroider also posted an image of the upcoming smartphone’s rear panel, which revealed that the upcoming smartphone will come packed a dual rear camera setup with 13MP sensors.

This supports a previous report by Dominik Bosnjak. The camera’s rear camera is supported with a dual-LED flash that is placed under circular bumps that make up the top of the smartphone. The dual sensors comprise of one monochrome sensor and one RGB sensor. It is interesting to note that Motorola decided to follow Huawei’s footsteps.

Even the China-based manufacturer integrated similar rear camera sensors in its flagship smartphones, namely Huawei P10 and Huawei Mate 9.

The Moto G5S Plus smartphone is also expected to come with a front-facing fingerprint scanner that should work smoothly with biometric security. The smartphone is powered by a 3,068mAh battery and features a 5.5-inch display with 1080 pixel resolution. The device will probably come in Gold, White Gold, and White Silver color variants, at a starting price of $300, Android News advised their readers.
