LG G4 smartphone users would be delighted to know that the device can now be upgraded to Android 7.0 Nougat. But, the availability of the update is only limited in South Korea. The Android 7.0 Nougat Update is only accessible through the tech company’s Bridge app.
The LG Bridge app can be downloaded through the Korean download portal of the company. Nonetheless, those files are currently only available for the smartphone’s F500K, F500S, and F500L models. According to GSM Arena, LG G4 users can use the downloadable KDZ images of XDA Developers to carry out the manual installation of the update.
Since the Android 7.0 Nougat has only just started updating LG G4 smartphones in South Korea, there is no information regarding the official size or changes in the update. Although the LG company is not expected to roll out the software features it offers with the LG G6; it is pretty sure that the tech giant has pitched in all the basic goodies in the Nougat update.
Nougat update to LG V10 smartphone
Meanwhile, LG confirmed earlier this year that it would launch the Android 7.0 Nougat to its V10 smartphone, but the company started rolling out the Nougat update to several units in May. Nevertheless, NeoWin reported that T-Mobile is now launching the update to the device in the U.S. The Nougat update comes along with a fix for an E911 timer issue.
On the other hand, Samsung’s Galaxy J7 (2016) and Galaxy A3 (2017) have been certified the WiFi alliance with Android Nougat. This could indicate that Samsung might be testing the latest operating system and could roll out the Android 7.0 Nougat update for the smartphones soon, The Mobile Indian reported. The Samsung Galaxy A3 2017 model has been seen with SM-A320FL in the listings, while the 2016 Samsung Galaxy j7 has SM-J710F/DS.
