Boston has a place in the heart of veteran quarterback Tom Brady as this is the place where his Hall of Fame-bound NFL career started. Brady was taken 199th overall in the 2000 NFL Draft by the New England Patriots. Since then, Brady has called New England home where he raised his family before he signed a two-year deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneer following a 20-year stint with the Patriots.

Despite leaving New England, the 43-year-old Brady has professed his love for the Patriots, their fans, and the city of Boston. In his latest Instagram story, Brady shared an Instagram story of TB12 Sports showing its store and gym in Boston. Brady then put a caption “Love Boston and where it all began”, referring to his stay with the Patriots where he won six Super Bowl titles and earned the title as the greatest of all time (GOAT).

Brady congratulates Lightning

The Tampa Bay Lightning won the second Stanley Cup in franchise history after finishing off the Dallas Stars with a shutout win on Monday.

Following the win, the Buccaneers, including their head coach and Brady, extended their congratulations to the Lightning after ending their title drought. The Lightning last won the Stanley Cup in 2004. In a tweet, the Buccaneers congratulated the Lightning, saying “The @TBLightning are bringing the Stanley Cup home to TAMPA BAY!” while Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians tweeted “Congrats to the @TBLightning on winning the Stanley Cup!” Brady, for his part, extended his greetings via Twitter, saying “Congrats to the @TBLightning for bringing home the Cup. How does one do socially distant parades??” Buccaneers tight end OJ Howard followed suit, tweeting “Big Win @TBLightning!

Congrats fellas.”

Brady to play vs Chargers in front of fans

Buccaneers fans will have a chance to see Brady play in person when the team takes on the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday at Raymond James Stadium. Per a report by Tim Wronka of Bay News 9, Buccaneers chief operating officer Brian Ford said they plan to host about 10,000 fans at Raymond James Stadium. This after Florida relaxed its rules on gatherings as part of its plan to reopen the economy. Ford said the number will increase to 16,000, or equivalent of 25 percent capacity, for the remaining games. The Buccaneers earlier said that they will prioritize season-ticket holders in the selling of tickets, based on their tenure. Per CDC guidelines, fans will be divided into “pods” of six people each with six feet of space between them.

Fans will be required to sign an online form called “The Bucs Fan Promise” before they are allowed to enter. The purchase of food, drinks, and stores will be cashless while buffets will no longer be available in premium seats. The Buccaneers have installed nearly 800 hand sanitizer stations. The Buccaneers, who lead the NFC South with a 2-1 mark, are a 7.5-point favorite against the Chargers.
