This offseason has seen many tight ends change teams. Here is a look at those players. They are tiered into whether they are expected to be fairly involved in the passing game or if they're expected to be more involved in helping to block.

Receiving tight ends

  • Trey Burton - Chicago Bears

Burton has agreed to a four-year/$32 million deal with the Bears, $22 million of which is guaranteed. The 26-year-old started just one of his 15 appearances with the Eagles in 2017 playing behind Zach Ertz, and he finished with 23 catches for 248 yards and five touchdowns. In 2016, he had 37 receptions for 327 yards after catching just three balls in his first two seasons of 2014-15.

  • Ed Dickson - Seattle Seahawks

Turning 31 on July 25, Dickson signed a three-year/$10.7 million contract to play for the Seahawks with $3.6 million guaranteed.

Playing in all 16 games (12 starts) with the Panthers in 2017, he finished with 30 receptions for 437 yards and one touchdown. Over eight NFL seasons, he has totaled 178 catches for 1,985 yards and 12 scores.

  • Eric Ebron - Indianapolis Colts

After being cut by the Lions, Ebron is joining the Colts on a two-year contract worth $13 million ($6.5 million guaranteed).

Turning 25 on April 10, the first-round pick in 2014 caught 53 passes for 574 yards and four touchdowns in 2017. In his four seasons, he has compiled totals of 186 receptions for 2,070 yards and 11 scores.

  • Jimmy Graham - Green Bay Packers

After spending the last three seasons with the Seahawks, the 31-year-old Graham is heading to the Packers on a three-year/$30 million pact ($11 million guaranteed).

The four-time Pro Bowler caught 57 balls for 520 yards and ten touchdowns last year. Over the course of his eight NFL seasons, he has totals of 556 catches for 6,800 yards and 69 touchdowns.

  • Austin Sefarian-Jenkins - Jacksonville Jaguars

Sefarian-Jenkins agreed to a two-year/$10 million deal ($4 million guaranteed) with the Jaguars. Last season with the Jets, the 25-year-old finished with 50 catches for 357 yards and three touchdowns in 13 games. In four years, he has 105 receptions for 1,070 yards and ten touchdowns.

  • Clive Walford - New York Jets

The Jets were awarded the 26-year-old Walford off waivers from the Raiders. He caught just nine passes for 80 yards last season, but he combined for 61 receptions for 688 yards and six touchdowns over his first two seasons of 2015-16.

  • Benjamin Watson - New Orleans Saints

The Saints and Watson agreed on a one-year/$2 million contract with $645,000 guaranteed. The 13-year veteran ended last season with 61 receptions for 522 yards and four touchdowns. Now 37 years old, he has career numbers of 495 catches for 5,485 yards and 42 touchdowns.

  • Luke Willson - Detroit Lions

The 28-year-old Willson signed with the Lions on a one-year deal worth $2.5 million ($1.4 million guaranteed). Starting seven of his 16 games for the Seahawks last year, he caught 15 balls for 153 yards and four touchdowns. In five seasons (all with Seattle), he has recorded 89 receptions for 1,129 yards and 11 scores.

Blocking tight ends

  • Derek Carrier - Oakland Raiders

Carrier is heading to the Raiders after agreeing on a three-year/$5.5 million deal ($1.9 million guaranteed).

In 14 games with the Rams last year, he caught eight passes for 71 yards. In 50 career games, he has 36 receptions for 327 yards and one touchdown. He turns 28 on July 25.

  • Darren Fells - Cleveland Browns

After playing last season with the Lions, Fells (turns 32 on April 22) signed a three-year/$12 million pact ($6.15 million guaranteed) with the Browns. He ended 2017 with 17 catches for 177 yards and three touchdowns. In four years, he has compiled 57 receptions for 713 yards and seven touchdowns.

  • Virgil Green - Los Angeles Chargers

Green signed a three-year/$8.6 million deal with $5.9 million guaranteed to join the Chargers. Starting all 16 games for the Broncos in 2017, he caught 14 balls for 191 yards and one score.

He has played seven seasons with career totals of 71 receptions for 807 yards and four touchdowns. He turns 30 on August 3.

  • Logan Paulsen - Atlanta Falcons

The 31-year-old Paulsen is joining the Falcons on a one-year deal worth $1.005 million with $200,000 guaranteed. Playing in 14 games last year, he didn't record a catch. He has 82 catches for 816 yards and six touchdowns in seven career seasons.

  • Niles Paul - Jacksonville Jaguars

Paul, who turns 29 on August 9, signed a two-year deal worth $4.75 million ($1.5 million guaranteed) to play for the Jaguars. He caught 13 passes for 94 yards with the Redskins in 2017. In six career seasons (all with Washington), he has totaled 68 receptions for 856 yards and two scores.

  • Levine Toilolo - Detroit Lions

Playing his first five seasons with the Falcons, Toilolo will be joining the Lions on a one-year/$1.5 million deal with $400,000 guaranteed. He started in 12 of his 15 games last season and had 12 catches for 122 yards and one score. He has caught 74 balls in his career for 723 yards and seven touchdowns.
