The NFL Power Rankings are out for Week 12, and heading into Thanksgiving weekend one thing is for sure -- you can’t downplay the New England Patriots. Tom Brady and the Patriots look like they are on a mission to win back-to-back titles this February. Are they on a Super Bowl collision course with the soaring Philadelphia Eagles? Time will tell, but right now they are two of the hottest teams in the NFL.

Road warriors

New England thrashed the Oakland Raiders by the final score of 33-8 in front of a crowd of over 70,000 in Mexico City. Tom Brady once again looked like a 25-year old in his prime as he threw for 339 yards and three touchdowns in the win.

Brady completed his first 12 pass attempts, and at one time you could hear the crowd chanting ''Brady! Brady!” at Azteca Stadium. On the schedule the Raiders were the designated ''home'' team in this game, however, you would have never known it by the crowd cheering and chanting during the entire second half of the game. The Patriots are 8-2 and already starting to have that Super Bowl look. New England has won six games in a row, including their last two on the road over the Denver Broncos and Oakland Raiders -- outscoring them by a combined 74-24.

New England is now 5-0 on the road this season.

Vikings, Saints continue to roll

The New Orleans Saints and Minnesota Vikings were not expected to be 8-2 after their first 10 games, but they are.

These two have already passed the “are they for real” test, and they now have their eyes set on the postseason.

The Vikings clashed with the red-hot LA Rams on Sunday afternoon in a game between two 7-2 teams. It took until the third quarter for Minnesota to get the offense going, but in the end it was the Vikings' defense that controlled the tempo as the Vikings ran away with the 24-7 win.

Minnesota QB Case Keenum threw for 280 yards and a touchdown against his old team while helping the Vikings keep their two-game lead over the Detroit Lions in the NFC North.

Drew Brees and the Saints mounted a huge comeback in Week 11, earning the hard-fought win against the Washington Redskins. New Orleans was down 15 points with under six minutes left in the 4th quarter on Sunday, but they stormed back to force overtime, where Wil Lutz kicked the game-winning field goal.
