Anthony was drafted by the Denver Nuggets third overall during the 2003 NBA draft. He is a ten-time All-Star, a six-time All-NBA team member, a member of the 2003-2004 NBA All-Rookie team, and the 2012-2013 NBA scoring champion.

Carmelo Anthony averages 24.8 points, 6.6 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.1 steals, and 0.5 blocks per game throughout his career while shooting 45.2 percent from the field, 34.6 percent from three, and 81.3 percent from the free-throw line.

The Thunder also acquired superstar forward Paul George from the Indiana Pacers for guard Victor Oladipo and forward Domantas Sabonis. George was drafted tenth overall by the Indiana Pacers during the 2010 NBA draft.

He is a four-time All-Star, a three-time All-NBA team member, a three-time All-Defensive team member, a member of the 2010-2011 All-Rookie team, and the 2012-2013 Most Improved Player.

What does Westbrook's signing mean for the Thunder?

Russell Westbrook rewrote history during the past NBA season after averaging 31.6 points, 10.7 rebounds, and 10.4 assists.

Westbrook is only the second player to average a triple-double in a span of one season.

After he signed this humongous contract extension, Westbrook might have ignited more drama in the Paul George situation. There have been rumors going around the league that the Los Angeles Lakers are going to land George's services this coming offseason.

But according to Paul George, this signing will surely be a major factor in his decision for the next offseason and that the Oklahoma City Thunder organization has shown a commitment that's off the charts.

Russell Westbrook waived his no-trade clause to sign an extension with the Thunder. He is now in a $233 million over six years contract with the Thunder.
