Several teams played on Friday night as part of NBA preseason 2017 games. The Boston Celtics played against the Philadephia 76er while the Oklahoma City Thunders faced off against the New Orleans Pelicans. Players Kyrie Irving, Jerryd Bayless, Anthony David and Paul George led their respective teams on Friday.

Kyrie Irving scored 21 points

The Philadelphia 76ers and the Boston Celtics played their NBA preseason game at Well Fargo Center in Philadelphia on Friday. Each team played well in the 1st quarter with the 76ers' lead at 27-26. But in the next 12 minutes of the game, the Celtics finished the halftime with four points lead, 58-54.

In the 3rd and 4th quarter, the Celtics continued to outscore the 76ers and finished the game with a win, 110-102.

Kyrie Irving led the Celtics in scoring with a total 21 points in Friday's game. He played well in 25 minutes, contributing five three-points shots with a shooting percentage of 71 percent from the three-points line. Irving made 7-of-14 shots from the field that made his field shooting percentage at 50 percent.

Kyrie was the only player in the game to score more than 15 points.

On the other hand, Al Horford made only seven points in 19 minutes off the bench but was number one in rebound. Terry Rozier contributed 13 points to Celtics, Aron Baynes with 12 points and Marcus Smart provided 11 points.

For the 76ers, the highest scorer was Jerryd Bayless with 15 points. He also added three rebounds and three assists for the 76ers on Friday. JJ Redick and Amir Johnson tie in 12 points and Jahlil Okafor made 11 points for the team.

Paul George scored 25 points in 27 minutes

After the Oklahoma City Thunders' defeat against the Rockets on October 3, the team came very ready in their second preseason game against the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday night at Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City.

During the 1st quarter of the game, the OCT outscored their opponent 28-26, with only two points lead. At halftime, the OCT retained their leading position at 53-44, finishing the 2nd quarter, 25-18 game.

In the third quarter of the game, the Pelicans bounced back with 29 points against 24 points of the OCT but was still behind.

In the last 12 minutes of the game, the Pelicans was not able to outscore the OCT and lost the game in 91-102 final score.

The Thunders did not allow Alex Abrines and Patrick Patterson to play in Friday's game due to injury and sickness. Paul George led the team in scoring with 25 points with a shooting percentage of 50 from the field and 43 percent from the three-point line. He also showcased defensive talent by grabbing four rebound and getting two steals.
