NBA.com has reported that the Atlanta Hawks have defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers last night. LeBron James and Isaiah Thomas did not suit up in last night;s game but Dwyane Wade, Derrick Rose, Jae Crowder, and Jeff Green played their first preseason game as part of the Cleveland Cavaliers. But the Atlanta Hawks shot 48.8 percent from the field which led to a 16 point victory for them. Dennis Schroder led the Hawks with 18 points and showed that he is ready to take on the primary scoring role for the Hawks.

Kay Felder shines despite loss

Despite losing last night to the Atlanta Hawks the Cleveland fans still have lots to be happy about especially with the performance of Kay Felder.

Felder led the Cavaliers in scoring with 13 points and added one rebound, one assist, and one steal. He shot 50 percent from the field making five of his 10 shots and sinking all of his two free throw attempts. The Cavaliers are looking really solid with their very deep lineup for next season but having a young prospect in Kay Felder can be a great plus for the Cavs roster this season.

Wade and Rose looking pretty good

Dwyane Wade and Derrick Rose suited up as part of the Cleveland Cavaliers last night and they looked pretty good. With both of them playing 15 minutes and 44s seconds they still looked pretty solid together on the court. Dwyane Wade contributed seven points, two rebounds, four assists, and one steal.

He three of his seven shots and sank one of his two three-pointers. Derrick Rose was able to register seven points and three assists while shooting 66.7 percent from the field and making three of his four free throw attempts. The Cavaliers are very deep next season with an extremely talented roster. Cavs fans can only hope that this will be enough for them to make another NBA finals appearance.

Dennis Schroder ready to be Hawks primary scorer

With the Atlanta Hawks unable to hold on to Paul Millsap they now turn to a complete rebuild this season. Dennis Schroder looks like he is ready to take over the Atlanta Hawks and be the main go-to guy for next season. In last night's win over the Cleveland Cavaliers, Schroder contributed 18 points, two rebounds, four assists, and one steal.

He also shot 46.7 percent from the field making seven of his 15 field goal attempts.

Dewayne Dedmon starts strong

Newly acquired Dewayne Dedmon played a solid game last night against the Cleveland Cavaliers. He scored 13 points, grabbed four rebounds, dished out two assists, and got one rejection. He shot an amazing 85.7 percent from the field making six of his seven field goal attempts. The Atlanta Hawks must be pretty happy with how well Dedmon played last night.
