A Jay Ajayi injury update has come in for the Miami Dolphins vs. New Orleans Saints game on Sunday (Oct. 1). A report by Adam Schefter states that Ajayi will play in the London game. Ajayi has been dealing with a knee issue that had him questionable for the Week 4 game, but now it is being reported that he will take the field. That’s a big deal for the Dolphins’ offense.
Game time for the Dolphins vs. Saints is 9:30 AM ET on Sunday, with the teams playing at London’s Wembley Stadium. Last week, the Jacksonville Jaguars embarrassed the Baltimore Ravens in London, making it an almost unwatchable game.
Most NFL analysts and fans have been commenting about how they would like a much more competitive Week 4 contest. The Saints are favored by three points to win this one.

Through two games this season, Jay Ajayi has 138 rushing yards on 39 carries, working out to an ugly average of just 3.5 yards per carry. Rushing for just 16 yards (on 11 carries) against the New York Jets left his stat line looking pretty bad. It was a far cry from the 122 yards on 28 carries he had in Week 2 against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Playing against the weakened defense of the New Orleans Saints, it seems safe to assume that Ajayi is about to have a bounce-back week for the Miami Dolphins.
Even though he is a bit banged up, all of the early-morning fantasy football analysts are stating that Ajayi should be starting in Week 4 lineups. West coast owners are at a disadvantage with the 6:30 AM PT start time, but that’s the risk that comes with having players who are playing in London games.
