The Jacksonville Jaguars will play the rest of the season without their top wide receiver Allen Robinson, who suffered a torn ACL in his left knee in their 29-7 win over the Houston Texans Sunday at NRG Stadium. Robinson will undergo MRI Monday, but the Jaguars confirmed that he suffered an ACL injury in his left knee. Robinson tallied one catch for 17 yards before leaving the game in the first quarter and did not return.It was a devastating incident for Robinson, who’s eyeing a huge contract after this season, where he’s slated to earn $1 million.

Last season, Robinson played all 16 regular-season games, recording 73 catches for 883 yards and six touchdowns. With Robinson sidelined, Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles will look to Allen Hurns, Arrelious Benn, and Marqise Lee. Rookie rusher Leonard Fournette will also get a share of the load from Robinson’s absence.

Bears wideout Kevin White headed to IR

The Chicago Bears also lost a key member of their roster after wideout Kevin White suffered a broken collarbone in their 23-17 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network Insider, White will be placed on injured reserve. White finished with two catches for six yards before he was injured.

This latest mishap was the third in White’s career.

A 2015 seventh overall pick by the Bears, White missed his entire rookie year with a stress fracture in his shin. He suited up for just four games last season after he fractured his fibula. The Bears already lost their top receiver Cameron Meredith, who suffered a season-ending ACL injury in the preseason.

Cardinals rusher suffered wrist injury

Arizona Cardinals rusher David Johnson injured his wrist injury in their 35-23 loss to the Detroit Lions. Johnson suffered the injury when he tried to tackle Lions rookie linebacker Jarrad Davis after fumbling the ball. According to the team, X-rays on Johnson’s wrist came back negative, but he’ll undergo MRI Monday.

Rapoport said the preliminary diagnosis is a sprained wrist. Before he suffered the injury, Johnson tallied just 23 yards on 11 carries with two fumbles. Johnson also had six catches for 68 yards.

49ers lost rookie first-round pick

The San Francisco 49ers lost rookie first-round linebacker Reuben Foster, who suffered a right ankle injury early in their 23-3 loss to the Carolina Panthers. Foster was carted off the field after the injury before the team downgraded him to out. After the game, head coach Kyle Shanahan said Foster’s x-rays came back negative. Before suffering the injury, Foster looked like a veteran as he nearly picked a pass by Panthers quarterback Cam Newton.
