Last week, every single defense in the Top Ten of these fantasy rankings produced solid results, with the exception of the Rams, who couldn't stop the Redskins' run game. Entering week 3, fantasy owners should again stream from the waiver wire if they have the opportunity. Let's take a look at the top ten Fantasy Football defenses for week 3.

1. Patriots D/ST

Anybody who watched last week's "Thursday Night Football" game knows that the Texans have basically no offense, even with DeShaun Watson at quarterback. The Patriots will take advantage of the rookie quarterback and put up one of the best fantasy weeks among defenses.

2. Packers D/ST

The Packers were just destroyed on the road by the Falcons defense, so it's tough to really give them a vote of confidence. However, the Bengals have not yet scored a touchdown, which makes the Packers one of the elite fantasy defenses in week 3.

3. Broncos D/ST

The Broncos are always an elite defense every week, and they should get some chances against a Bills offense that managed to score just three points against the Panthers.

4. Ravens D/ST

Bortles reverted back to his terrible form in week 2, tossing several interceptions and losing a fumble against the Titans. Things aren't going to get easier for him against a much tougher Baltimore Ravens defense.

5. Rams D/ST

We may get a repeat of "Thursday Night Football" week 2 when the Rams take on the 49ers.

Both teams have solid defenses and have struggled at times offensively. The Rams defense is more talented, and should be able to put enough pressure on Brian Hoyer to generate some turnovers.

6. Eagles D/ST

The Giants offense was terrible in week 1, Eli Manning looked bad, and the run game for New York is virtually nonexistent.

All of those factors make the Eagles defense, which tends to make a lot of plays, an elite defense in week 3.

7. Steelers D/ST

This feels a bit low, but I'm a little bit wary of the Steelers on the road. Last week, the Buccaneers defense scored 18 fantasy points against Chicago. I don't expect a repeat, but the Steelers defense should still be able to put up a decent number of fantasy points.

8. Dolphins D/ST

They're playing the Jets. Even on the road, the Dolphins should be a popular streaming play against a Jets team that has already turned the ball over way too much this season.

9. Titans D/ST

The Seahawks have not looked very good this year on offense, and a portion of the problems can be blamed on the offensive line, while another portion of the blame can be laid at the feet of Russell Wilson. Because Seattle's offense has been so bad, the Titans defense is a good play in week 3.

10. Bills D/ST

The Buffalo Bills are quietly establishing themselves as one of the NFL's best defenses following the first two weeks of the season. The defense has scored double digit fantasy points in each of the first two weeks of the year.

They might play a red hot Trevor Siemian in week 3, but that won't slow down a pass rush that accumulated six sacks against Cam Newton last week.
