The New England Patriots hosted the Houston Texans on Sunday in a week 3 matchup of the 2017 NFL season. The current Super Bowl champions defeated the Texans 36-33. Tom Brady connected with Brandin Cooks on a 24-yard touchdown pass with 23 seconds left in the game and the Patriots rallied to win the game. It was a great game for Brady, as he threw for 378 yards and five touchdowns without an interception. He was sacked five times by the Texans' defense, but still completed 25 of his 35 pass attempts. Brandin Cooks caught five passes for 131 yards and two touchdowns.

Rob Gronkowski had eight receptions for 89 yards and a touchdown. Young Texans' quarterback Deshaun Watson threw for 301 yards and two touchdowns, but he had two interceptions. He played very well in this game, but it wasn't enough to beat Brady on Sunday.

1st half

New England Patriots scored a touchdown on their first drive of the game after Rob Gronkowski caught a five-yard touchdown pass from Tom Brady. The first points of the game for the Texans came from the field goal on their second drive of the match. With 1:51 left to play in the first quarter, Deshaun Watson threw a 29-yard touchdown pass to Bruce Ellington, and the Texans took a 10-7 lead. Stephen Gilmore intercepted Deshaun Watson in the second quarter before Tom Brady threw another touchdown pass, this time to Chris Hogan.

Houston made a field goal with 7:01 left to play in the second quarter. In the next Patriots' drive, Clowney recovered the fumble and scored a touchdown after Tom Brady was strip-sacked by Mercilus. But, the Patriots managed to score another touchdown before the half and took a 21-20 lead.

2nd half

In the first drive of the second half, the Patriots scored a touchdown on a 42-yard touchdown pass from Tom Brady to Brandin Cooks.

The Texans responded with a touchdown on their next drive, after Deshaun Watson threw a 12-yard touchdown pass to Ryan Griffin. They made two more field goals and took a 33-28 lead. Tom Brady led the Patriots to a win after he threw a 42-yard touchdown pass to Brandin Cooks. The Patriots made the two-point conversion attempt and took a 36-33 lead.

Texans had a chance to win the game, but Deshaun Watson was intercepted by Harmon and the game was over.

Patriots host the Panthers while the Texans host the Titans in week 4

New England Patriots will face the Carolina Panthers in week 4 of the 2017 NFL season. The Panthers currently have a 2-1 record, but they lost to the Saints in week 3. The Patriots are the favorites and it would be a surprise if they didn't win. The Houston Texans will host the Tennessee Titans, who currently have a 2-1 record. The Titans are coming off of a win against the Seattle Seahawks and are looking to beat their division rivals to come one step closer to winning their division.
