Seattle Seahawks rumors about their Week 3 opponent aren’t flattering. NFL experts are predicting the Seahawks will lose to the Tennessee Titans in a major road game this Sunday (Sept. 24). According to a report by CBS Sports, the panel of analysts has unanimously predicted that the Titans will beat the Seahawks, creating a lot of bulletin board material for fans of the team.
Russell Wilson and the woeful offensive line had a tough time scoring against the San Francisco 49ers last weekend. The Seahawks didn’t even score their first touchdown of the season until the second half of this game, showing that there are some things that fans should be concerned about.
Could it actually lead to a loss against the lowly Tennessee Titans?
How good are the Titans this season?
The Tennessee Titans are 1-1 on the season with a 37-16 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars and a 26-16 loss to the Oakland Raiders. Quarterback Marcus Mariota has 471 yards through the air, and Derrick Henry is the leading rusher with 117 yards on the ground. Running back DeMarco Murray and wide receiver Corey Davis are dealing with hamstring strains that now have them listed as uncertain to play in the Week 3 game.
As for the other side of the ball, there are updated Seattle Seahawks rumors about tight end Jimmy Graham. Graham got a bit banged up against the 49ers, limping off the field at one point, but returning to his position soon after that.
Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll stated that Graham is dealing with a sore ankle and that there isn’t any problem with his knee. He should be back on the field for the game against the Titans. Running back Chris Carson could also see additional snaps.
Can the Seahawks’ offense overcome a slow start to the 2017 NFL season?
It has become very familiar for the Seattle Seahawks to start off the regular season slowly, especially on the offensive side of the ball.
The unfortunate part of the 2017 NFL campaign is that the Green Bay Packers and San Francisco 49ers have exposed a number of deficiencies on the offensive line for the Seahawks. If the team doesn’t want quarterback Russell Wilson to get hurt, the line has to tighten up moving forward.
Game time for the Seattle Seahawks vs. Tennessee Titans is 1 p.m.
PT on Sunday (Sept. 24) with FOX providing the television coverage. Every major sports site is predicting that the Seahawks are about to lose to the Titans, including the ESPN matchup predictor stating that the home team has a 59 percent chance at winning this game.
To stop the next Seattle Seahawks rumors from becoming what the team will do in the 2018 NFL Draft, it’s time for the team to make a statement against the Titans and show that they truly can be a playoff contender.
