Three Male Athletes

The most notable male athletes are:

  • John Kruk – For years, John Kruk has been working for “Major League Baseball on Fox” and “The Best Damn Sports Show Period.” In 2004, he was hired by ESPN as an analyst on “Baseball Tonight.” He played in Major League Baseball for the Philadelphia Phillies, San Diego Padres, and Chicago White Sox from 1987 to 1995.   • Jessica Ennis – She received special coaching from World Championships bronze medalist Mick Hill. Jessica Ennis took part in athletics from a young age. She won the AAA Girls title in the high jump at the age of 14, clearing 1.70 meters. In 2004, Ennis won two silver medals in the high jump and the 100 m hurdles, at the Commonwealth Youth Games.
  • Ronda Rousey – Ronda Rousey is one of the best and most famous female athletes of all time. She began her mixed martial arts career in August 2010. Ronda gave tough competition to Taylor Stratford in the Tuff-N-Uff tournament semifinals in January 2011. She also faced Charmaine Tweet in an MMA bout at Hard Knocks Fighting Championship: School of Hard Knocks the same year.
  • Serena Williams – The list of most famous athletes cannot be completed without mentioning Serena Williams. Her game is built around taking control of rallies with her consistent and powerful serve. Serena’s forehead is named as one of the most powerful shots in the world. In 2013, her serve speed was 128 mph in the Australian Open.
