On Tuesday night, the Los Angeles Sparks host the San Antonio Stars at the Staples Center. Of the two teams, the Sparks are headed for the postseason while the Stars have already been eliminated. Los Angeles is still seeking to hold one of the top spots in the seedings, and could possibly catch the Minnesota Lynx for the top record overall. Here's a look at tonight's WNBA game including the matchup odds, game time, channels, and Stars vs. Sparks live streaming options.

WNBA game preview

The San Antonio Stars come into the game having won just seven games on the season.

However, the team didn't seem like they'd win more than a few as the season moved forward. They've gone 5-5 over their last 10 games and 3-2 over their last five games. That includes wins against the Seattle Storm and Washington Mystics, both of whom seem to be playoff bound. More recently, the Stars dropped a close one, 79-78 to the Storm in Seattle. Tonight San Antonio gets an even tougher test, though.

The Los Angeles Sparks have won two-straight games including a recent double-overtime thriller against the Sky in Chicago. Nneka Ogwumike finished with 32 points, while Candace Parker scored 29 points. That put the Sparks' record at 21-8 overall or 9-7 on the road. Tonight they'll host the game on their home court where they've gone an impressive 12-1 for the season.

With the Lynx just 1.5 games ahead of them for the No. 1 seed in the playoffs, Los Angeles will be trying to catch them. Minnesota will be in action as well, hosting the Phoenix Mercury earlier in the evening.

According to the Odds Shark website, the home team is large favorites tonight. L.A. is listed as high as -1200 on the moneyline with the Stars as +675 to +750 underdogs.

The point spread sees the Sparks as 13.5-point favorites at home, with the over/under points total at 155 points as of this report. Los Angeles owns the head-to-head meetings over their last 10 games with a dominant 9-1 record.
