The Chicago Sky carry a record of 12-18 overall and 8-7 on the road for today's game.

Most recently, they defeated the Connecticut Sun by 13 points. The team is right on the cusp of cracking into the top eight overall teams in order to qualify for this year's postseason. Right above them in the No. 7 and No. 8 spots are Dallas (15-17) and Seattle (14-17). The New York Liberty have looked relatively strong lately, as the team is 19-12 overall and 11-4 on their home court at Madison Square Garden. New York won that game on the road 74-66, despite the return of Mystics' All-Star Elena Delle Donne. Now New York will try to make it eight-straight as they are just a game behind Connecticut for the third spot in the playoff standings.

In terms of the odds to win today, the role of favorites goes to the home team. Odds Shark lists New York as favorites of seven points on the spread and -300 on the money line.

The visiting Sky are +250 underdogs at several sports books, while the over/under points total is 161 to 162 at various books. The Liberty own a 6-4 record over the teams' last 10 meetings including an 86-82 win in Chicago back on July 30th.
