On Tuesday night just one WNBA game hits the schedule as the New York Liberty visit the San Antonio Stars. The Liberty are on a quest to qualify for the 2017 WNBA Playoffs while the San Antonio Stars are looking at another top draft pick after the season. The team has won just three games and seems to have little hope of catching up to any of the top eight teams in the standings. Meanwhile, New York has racked up two-straight wins and goes for their third on the road. Here's the latest WNBA game preview including matchup odds, Tv Channels, start time, and game odds.

WNBA game preview

The New York Liberty have racked up wins over the Indiana Fever and Chicago Sky most recently to grab two-straight. Both were close wins, with a one-point victory at Indiana and a four-point win at Chicago. In the win over the Sky, WNBA All-Star Tina Charles added another double-double to her resume with 15 points and 10 boards. Kiah Stokes chipped in with 10 points and 16 boards to help the effort. Now New York hopes for a much easier win over a struggling Stars team.

San Antonio is just 3-21 on the season and 2-10 on their home court. They're on a three-game skid with the most recent a 17-point loss at the Phoenix Mercury. The Stars shot just 33.8 percent for the game and had 21 turnovers.

On the bright side, they outrebounded their opponents 43-30. Now they're back home and trying to get their fourth win of the season, but a 12-10 Liberty team that is within reach of the top of the East will pose a challenge for sure.

Head-to-head, the Liberty have gone 6-4 over the last 10 meetings. Odds makers at various sports books have the New York Liberty as 8.5-point favorites to win.

On the moneyline, books have the Liberty at -450 with the underdog home team at +350 or slightly higher up. The over/under points total is 155.5 points for the complete WNBA game.
