With plenty of headlines surrounding the Dallas Cowboys this offseason, fans of the team may get a look at several of the key starters on Saturday night. The Cowboys are slated to host the AFC's Indianapolis colts with the game getting television coverage. While one of the Cowboys' top stars may be on the sidelines still, another is expected to make his preseason debut. Here's the latest NFL preseason game preview with matchup odds, start time, TV channel, and how to see the Colts vs. Cowboys live streaming online.
NFL game preview
As the Dallas Cowboys website reported, running back, Alfred Morris will get more time on the field in tonight's preseason game.
Morris could get a lot of time in the upcoming season, at least for the first six games, based on star running back Ezekiel Elliott's suspension. Elliott is not expected to participate in tonight's game. However, reports have suggested that wide receiver Dez Bryant will make his debut, so Cowboys fans will get an early look at how the star player is looking.
The Indianapolis Colts should also feature starters on the field in tonight's matchup. Quarterback Andrew Luck probably won't participate, due to his ongoing recovery from injury and the team not wanting to rush him back. Fox 59 reported that wideouts Donte Moncrief and Chester Rogers will also be sidelined for tonight's game with injuries.
However, Colts fans will get a look at their rookie running back Marlon Mack and possibly T.Y. Hilton for a bit in tonight's game. QB Scott Tolzien is the backup for the injured Luck and may appear heavily.
Odds Shark website listed Dallas as a 5.5-point favorite to win for tonight's point spread. The Colts are +185 to +190 underdogs in tonight's road game, at various sports books.
In terms of an over/under points total, the latest number was 38 points for the game, as of this report. Dallas managed to score just 10 points last week against the L.A. Rams, while the Colts put up ten as well against the Detroit Lions.
