Sunday afternoon's WNBA action will include the Connecticut Sun hosting the San Antonio Stars. The game will feature two of the Eastern Conference's recently-named All-Star Game starters. In addition, it features a Stars team in search of just their third win of the season. It will be a tough task on the road at Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut, as the Sun have a record of 4-3 there. However, should San Antonio grab the win, it will be their second-straight, giving the team a mini-surge. Here's the latest game preview including matchup odds, as well as how to watch The Stars vs.

Sun live streaming online, or via television on Sunday.

WNBA game preview

This past week, the Connecticut Sun learned that voting put two of their players onto the Eastern Conference WNBA All-Star team's starting lineup. Both Jasmine Thomas and Jonquel Jones earned the nods based on voting by the fans, fellow players, and members of the media. Today, they'll look to continue their star performances by leading their team to victory. If so, it will make the Sun 12-8 for the season and keep them ahead of the Washington Mystics for the East lead, at least for a game.

The San Antonio Stars were at the bottom of the WNBA standings last season, and that's been the same case this season. However, a recent victory at the Indiana Fever gave the team their second win of the past season and second in the past four games.

Guard Kayla McBride has been leading the team in scoring with 15.7 points per game, while the Stars' No. 1 WNBA draft pick Kelsey Plum finally showed a glimpse of why she may become a future star.

In the team's win over the Fever, Plum finished with just 12 points on 4-for-12 shooting which included 2-of-5 from downtown. She also tallied six rebounds and four assists in the effort.

It could have finally given her the confidence she needs to put together some more great stat lines this season.

The Odds Shark website lists Connecticut as a large favorite with a spread of 14.5 points in their favor. On the moneyline, where available, Connecticut was as high as a -2000 favorite with the San Antonio Stars listed at +1000.

The over/under points total is at 159 to 160 at various sports books today.
