AS Roma and Leicester City are battling it out for Sassuolo forward Gregoire Defret. In France, OGC Nice left-back Dalbert would prefer to join Inter Milan instead of Arsenal. Gregoire Defret set to move on

Gregoire Defret struck twelve times in Italy last term, and he is now ready to move on this summer. The Frenchman has previously been linked with a possible move to EPL club Southampton, while Ligue 1 club sides are also tracking him.

But now, according to Leicester Mercury, it is AS Roma and Leicester City who're fighting hard to snap-up the 26-year-old striker during the current transfer market. Both club sides are willing to part with around $19.4million to sign the striker, however they may well need to up their offers.

Sassuolois very “reluctant” to let the France striker go and it is suggested that the Italian club want close to $32.3 million for Defret's signature.

Dalbert wants Inter Milan move

Dalbert has informed his current club that he wants to leave this summer after learning of the increasing interests around Europe in his services. According to Express, Both Inter Milan and Arsenal are keen on the defender, who impressed during his debut season in France last term.

Both club sides are ready to submit formal bids for the Brazilian and OGC Nice are bracing themselves for a “bidding war.” Dalbert is said to have set his heart on a move to Inter Milan and will hold for an approach from the Italian club even if Arsenal agrees a transfer fee for the 23-year-old defender.

Sevilla keen on Amavi move

Sevillais in the transfer market for a new left back this summer, and they've earmarked Jordan Amavi as their number one target. According to Goal, Sevilla submitted a formal bid of $6.79million last week as they look to get a deal done this week. However, that approach was declined by English Championship side Aston Villa and Sevilla CF have been “forced” to work out on a new proposal.

Sevilla are said to be willing to return with a fresh offer, and they're confident that the 23-year-old defender wants to join them. Jordan Amavi is also attracting interests from French Ligue 1 clubs, but it is suggested he is keen on a possible move to Sevilla instead.
