Serie A club Inter Milan have reportedly rekindled their interest in Manchester United defender Matteo Darmian. Elsewhere, AC Milan is willing to show West Ham United target Carlos Bacca the exit door to help fund a move for Borussia Dortmund hitman Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. In England, Tottenham Hotspur target Suso has revealed his desire to stay at AC Milan. Here's a complete report of the latest transfer updates making the rounds:
Inter and Juventus lead chase for Darmian
Matteo Darmian attracted the interest of Inter Milan last year and in January 2017, after struggling with regular first team football at United.
The Red Devils resisted the temptation to sell the Italy international, who apparently became an integral part of the squad, following an extended spell of injuries to teammates. However, claims over Darmian's future are set to intensify again this summer window as Serie A outfit Inter Milan are reportedly considering making another fresh move for the 27-year-old fullback, according to Read Man Utd. Serie A champions Juventus also have an interest in the defender and the both Italian clubs are set to battle it out for Darmian's signature.
Manchester United manager José Mourinho has apparently stood firm over Matteo Darmian's future at Old Trafford and he has expressed his desire to keep Darmian at Old Trafford.
AC Milan step up chase for Aubameyang
AC Milan is keen on revamping their attacking lineup this summer and they're already started to splash the cash. Milan has brought Sunderland's Fabio Borini and Andre Silva from CF Porto. However, they also want to add Gabon international Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang into the mix. To accomplish this, some current crops of forwards in the squad needs to leave the club and according to Calcio Mercato, Carlos Bacca is one of those who'll be shown the exit door this summer.
This will certainly come as good news to Premier League club West Ham United, who've been monitoring the Colombia forward for the past twelve months, and may well firm up their interest with a formal bid.
As well as Carlos Bacca, fellow striker Gianluca Lapadula will also be “axed” as AC Milan continue to revamp their roster ahead of the new campaign.
Both EPL clubs Everton FC and Arsenal have also been linked with the Colombian in recent days.
Suso willing to stay at Milan, despite interests from around Europe
The 23-year-old attacking midfielder has been back at his best in Italy after being “deemed” surplus to requirements by English giants Liverpool FC in 2015. Top club sides across Europe are now chasing the Spaniard, especially as he has just two-years left on his current deal. But according to Goal, Suso is on Tottenham Hotspur's radar this summer window, has now dealt them and other interested clubs a “hammer blow” by publicly revealing his plans to stay at AC Milan this summer.
