José Mourinho has hinted Manchester United could resign Zlatan Ibrahimovic when he fully recovers from the major knee surgery he underwent at the end of the last term. Elsewhere, Stoke City have turned down Galatasaray's loan bid for Giannelli Imbula, while West Ham United manager Slaven Bilić says he is “pretty close” to adding to his squad. Here's a complete report of the latest transfer updates making the rounds:

Mourinho may give Ibrahimovic another chance at Old Trafford

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who scored twenty-eight goals for Manchester United before he sustained a ligament damage to his right-knee playing in the UEFA Europa League last term, was released when his season long contract expired at the end of last month.

It is “known” the Swedish striker has remained at the Red Devil's Carrington training center facility to get back to full-fitness before deciding on his future, and now, according to the Sun, it appears Manchester United could offer the Swede veteran a new deal to keep him at the Old Trafford. United boss José Mourinho has said it is “possible” Zlatan will be offered a new contract, and the fans have been positively reacting to this development on the club's official social media pages.

Imbula is not wanted at Stoke City, Galatasaray S.K interest in him

Giannelli Imbula's future at Stoke City has been cast into “some” doubts after a disappointing season for the Potters. The 24-year-old midfielder made the switch to the Bet365 Stadium for a club record fee of $23.6 million from Portuguese side CF Porto last year January but has apparently failed to establish himself in the Potters first team set-up.

And, despite having four-years remaining on his current deal, the EPL club is considering “cutting” their losses and getting “rid” of Imbula this summer window.

According to 90min.com, Stoke City have turned down Galatasaray's initial loan bid as their intention may be to “shift” the 24-year-old midfielder out on a permanent move.

Giannelli Imbula has so far earned twenty-three appearances for Stoke but the Potters boss Mark Hughes has already cast serious doubt over whether the Frenchman features in his long term plans at the Bet365 Stadium.

Slaven Bilic confident of strengthening his squad this summer window

West Ham United have been extensively linked with a potential move for Manchester City goalie Joe Hart, who's currently out of favor at the Etihad and spent the last term on loan with Serie A club Torino.

They're understood to have had a $25.8 million offer for Stoke City midfielder Marko Arnautovic rejected, and reportedly “dropped” their interest in Arsenal FC forward Olivier Giroud. However, the Hammers boss Slaven Bilić, who has so far brought in defender Pablo Zabaleta from Manchester City, told West Ham's official website, “We're pretty close, but I prefer not to say anything about transfers, I prefer to act on transfers.”
