Later on, he was taken out for a pinch hitter during the fifth inning.

What will the Red Sox benefit from Nunez?

The Boston Red Sox might have looked into all aspects before committing to the deal. Eduardo Nunez has been an astonishing infielder and well-recognized player for the Giants. Since June 1st, his average was the fourth highest in the majors.

He also progressed 9-for-16 (.563) at his last four games with the Giants.

The advantage with Nunez is that he is not only a third base player. During his career, he had played shortstop, second base, left and right field. Along with that, Nunez obtained negative defensive runs at all five spots. Manager Bruce Bochy stated that Nunez is a player that has a lot of demand and many clubs would like to have him on the team.
