About nine months ago, the Phoenix Mercury eliminated the New York Liberty from the WNBA Playoffs. The two teams have met twice this season already. New York won by 16 points back on June 4th at home and edged the Mercury by two points in Phoenix on May 23rd. A win today gives the Liberty a season sweep of a Western Conference foe that eliminated that in the playoffs.

The Liberty enter this game as five-point underdogs despite their recent success against Phoenix. On the moneyline, the Mercury are a slight -115 favorite to win, with the Liberty as -105 underdogs. The over/under points total is around 160 points as of this report. In their last meeting, New York won 88-72 on their home court, easily surpassing the spread of five points.
