For the New York Liberty, it was a 76-75 loss to the Minnesota Lynx on the road thanks to a Lindsay Whalen jumper with under a minute to go. In the loss, team leader Tina Charles tallied a double-double in the first half and finished with 24 points and 16 rebounds.

The Indiana Fever have lost their last two games and currently are 10-14 in the standings. In their most recent loss, the team fell by two points to the Dallas Wings. Brianna January finished with 16 points on 5-for-11 shooting for the Fever in a game which saw them shoot nearly 51 percent from the floor but lose by two. Prior to that loss, the team was blown out by the San Antonio Stars 85-61, so they'll be looking forward to today's return home to try to get back to winning.
