Sunday's WNBA schedule features one of the Eastern Conference top teams, the Connecticut Sun, as they host the struggling Indiana Fever. The Sun had been scheduled for a huge matchup days ago on the road against the Washington Mystics which was canceled due to a leaky roof situation. Now they look to continue their hot stretch at the Mohegan Sun Arena where they've won six of their last seven games. Here's the latest WNBA game preview including matchup odds, game time, Tv Channels, and how to watch the Fever vs. Sun live streaming online.

WNBA game preview

The Connecticut Sun are one of the biggest surprises of the current WNBA season. After starting just 1-5 in the standings, they surged with a 12-4 record and are now 13-9 to sit atop the East with Washington. Most recently, the Sun defeated the Sky 93-72 with 27 assists and 14 steals in the game, both of which were season highs. The team also features three All-Star players as Jonquel Jones, Jasmine Thomas, and Alyssa Thomas all earned bids to the team this season. Jones currently leads the league in rebounding with 11.2 boards pulled down per game, on average.

For the Indiana Fever, the team will need to crawl their way up from a disappointing record. They're currently 8-15 overall and have just a 3-9 record when playing away from home.

Their record has them tied at the bottom of the East with the Chicago Sky, a team that looked to be surging ahead at one point. Indiana has dropped three-straight games including road contests at Dallas and San Antonio. Most recently, they were edged 85-84 by the Liberty at home, so they'll try to end this three-game skid against a team that has played quite well at home.

This will mark the third and final meeting of the regular season for the two teams. As of this report, Odds Shark listed Connecticut with a point spread of 12 points in their favor. There were no money line prices set for either team, but the over/under points total was at 166.5 points for the complete game. The previous meeting came back on July 1st when Connecticut prevailed 91-85 in Indiana.
