Golden State Warriors wanted to sweep the Cleveland Cavaliers and receive a championship trophy in Cleveland. However, the defending champions did not allow themselves to blow another lead and they finished the game beating the Warriors, 137 to 116. In what was a do-or-die game for the Cavaliers, they broke a few records, including the record for most three-pointers in an NBA Finals game with 24.

Before the game started, the Warriors players made it known that they want to win in Cleveland. If they achieved it, they would be the first team in NBA history to go undefeated in the postseason.

However, Cleveland fought back hard and came up with a big victory. After it was all said and done, LeBron James and Kyrie Irving talked about the Warriors and their pre-game comments, saying how the trash talk motivated them to play better.

Trash talk is part of the game

Kyrie Irving admitted that the comments he heard from the Warriors rubbed him the wrong way. “It’s part of the game, I understand that. We knew what we were faced with, but then you add some chatter in there, that adds some extra motivation," said the Cavaliers point guard.

LeBron James also commented about the trash talk that came from Draymond Green.

Before the game, Green said how he wants to celebrate in Cleveland and quiet their crowd. "I think it came from Draymond, which is OK, that's Dray," said the Cavaliers forward. It is well known that Green loves to trash talk, but it backfired this time as the Cavaliers fans trash talked him during the game.

LeBron and Irving were amazing

Warriors' trash talk motivated LeBron and Irving as this duo performed incredibly well in the game. James had another triple-double with 31 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists, while Kyrie Irving scored 40 points on 15-for-27 shooting.

Game 5 of the 2017 NBA Finals will be played on June 12 and the Golden State Warriors will give their best to finish the Cavaliers off on their home court.

However, there is no doubt that Cleveland will try to pull another upset and go back home trailing 3-2 in the series. If the Cavaliers win the next game, they will have a good chance of making a big comeback in the series and winning it in seven games.

Last year, the Warriors had a 3-1 lead and the Cavaliers came back to win the series. Despite the odds, they managed to do something that had never been done before. However, can they come back from a 0-3 deficit this year and make the impossible possible once again?
