Josh Norman is one of the top cornerbacks in the NFL but he often lets his mouth overrun his talent on the field. He did it when he played with the Super Bowl winning Carolina Panthers and he is doing it while playing for the Dallas Cowboys main NFC East rivals, the Washington Redskins. This past week, Josh Norman decided he was going to talk smack about the Cowboys and wide receiver Dez Bryant but the Dallas All-Pro wasn't letting any of it get to him.

Josh Norman's smack talk

Josh Norman was talking to Bleacher Report in an interview and they asked him about Dez Bryant and the Dallas Cowboys.

As talented as Norman is on the field, he is even more talented at giving opposing teams bulletin board material. He did so when he talked about Bryant, and called Dez "just a guy."

In the interview, Josh Norman decided to take on both Dez Bryant and Odell Beckham Jr., the two best receivers he will face from the NFC East. When it came to Beckham, Norman said he was just a kid who talked more than he could back up. When it came to Bryant, he said that there was nothing special about him at all and he was just a guy.

Dez Bryant's response

Dez Bryant was asked about the Josh Norman comments and said he didn't care about what Norman thought. Dez said there was no reason to even respond back to Norman because they will see each other on the field when they line up against each other in 2017.

The Dallas Cowboys play the Washington Redskins twice every year.

Dez Bryant went on to say that Josh Norman was not on his mind at all and he has no words about the comments because they provide no motivation for the season or the games against Washington. Dez said that all he cares about is himself and each of the Dallas Cowboys games this season, one at a time until they make the playoffs again.

Dez Bryant vs. Josh Norman

Josh Norman has always liked to talk smack. He got into Odell Beckham Jr.'s head so bad last season that there were numerous personal foul calls and fines were handed down. However, it looks like Dez Bryant is above that and won't let Norman's words get him worked up and possibly cost the Dallas Cowboys penalties or suspensions when they play the Redskins.

It also helps that Norman's comments are just words while Dez Bryant has backed up his boasts on the field. Josh might think Dez is "just a guy," but the Dallas Cowboys beat the Washington Redskins twice last season by the scores of 27-23 and 31-21. Added to that, Bryant caught seven balls for 102 yards in the first game and five receptions for 72 yards in the second.
