22 people were killed Monday, May 22, and more than 50 were wounded when a suicide bomber set off an explosive device at the Manchester Arena following the conclusion of an Ariana Grande concert. The bomber was later identified as Salman Abedi.

The explosive device packed with screws and bolts was set off outside the arena and near the train station at 10:30 p.m., Monday.

Several people were arrested following the incident to include Abedi's father and brother in Tripoli, Libya. The brother, Hashem, was believed to have ties to the Islamic State group, ISIS, which laid claim to the attack.

The Fight Card which began with preliminary bouts on the UFC's digital streaming service, UFC Fight Pass, later moved to more preliminary bouts and the main card on FS1.

The main event features two former UFC light heavyweight title contenders, Alexander Gustafsson (17-4) taking on Glover Teixeira (26-5). Both fighters once challenged former champion Jon Jones for the title.

Road to the title

Gustafsson lost the fight to Jones in 2013 via unanimous decision and is considered to be one of the best fights in the history of the UFC's light heavyweight division. A native of Stockholm, Gustafsson is the favored fighter in the matchup.

Teixeira also lost a unanimous decision in his fight with Jones in 2014 and is coming into today's fight with a win over Jared Cannonier in February. The winner of this fight will move one step closer to earning a second title shot. Gustafsson is currently ranked number one in the UFC's light heavyweight division, while Teixeira claims the number two spot. Champion Daniel Cormier will defend his title against Jones at UFC 214 in July.
