In Sunday's WNBA action, the Washington Mystics will host the San Antonio Stars. The Stars have already suffered a loss as they fell to the New York Liberty on Saturday in the first game of the 2017 WNBA season. The Mystics have yet to start the season and will have a major debut in their home opener.

The biggest offseason acquisition of a player in some time happened when the Mystics landed Elena Delle Donne, originally with the Chicago Sky. Will she lead the home team to an opening win? Here's a look at the Stars vs. Mystics game Preview including odds, channel, time and how to watch it live.

Rookie out, Delle Donne debuts

On Saturday, San Antonio played their first game of the brand new season, but it was without their No. 1 draft pick Kelsey Plum, due to ankle issues. The game ended up a 73-64 loss, showing that this Stars team still has plenty of work to do if they want to contend.

Monique Curry scored 23 points while Isabelle Harrison had 15 points. Unfortunately, the team is not only without their highly-anticipated rookie, Plum but also last season's top two scorers. Plum, Kalya McBride, and Moriah Jefferson will all be sidelined for today's game as well.

While the Washington Mystics have yet to play a game, there is plenty of excitement with the addition of Elena Delle Donne to their lineup.

Back in February, the team orchestrated a huge deal by sending Stefanie Dolson and Kahleah Copper along with the No. 2 pick in the WNBA Draft to the Sky for Delle Donne.

Now she gets to play closer to home, as she is a Delaware native, and also brings a nice 21.5 points per game scoring average with her to this team. Not only that, her 42.6 percent three-point shooting rate will be a huge plus for a Mystics team that is now a part of the discussion for WNBA title contenders this season.

For today's matchup, the home team is a whopping 15.5-point favorite to win. The over/under points total is at 153.5 points for the complete game. The Washington Mystics are currently listed as tied for third on the future odds to win the WNBA Finals for this latest season, with odds of 5 to 1. That has them tied with the New York Liberty in the latest listing.
