This is a review of how Americans foreign pros in major European leagues fared during their last week engagements with their various clubs across Europe. Last week no American players scored a goal for their clubs. But Matt Miazga helped Arnhem Vitesse to win their first ever major club title in their 125 years existence as a football club. Forward Bobby Wood did not feature for Borussia Dortmund in their 0-0 home draw with FC Koln last Saturday. Let's take a look on how the American foreign pros fared last weekend.

England

Premier League — Geoff Cameron played the entire 90 minutes for Stoke City in their 0-0 draw with West Ham United.

Goalkeeper Brad Guzan played ninety minutes for Middlesbrough in their 0-0 stalemate with Manchester City. Sunderland Lynden Gooch made the match day roster (on the bench) for Sunderland but did not play in their 1-0 loss to AFC Bournemouth. Defender Cameron Carter Vickers was not part of the Tottenham Hotspur team (not even on the bench) that won 2-0 over Arsenal.

Championship — DeAndre Yedlin started and played the entire ninety minutes for Newcastle United in their 2-0 away win over Cardiff City. Tim Ream played ninety minutes for Fulham in their 1-1 draw with Brentford. Midfielder Danny Williams did not start but was later introduced in the sixtieth minutes for Reading in their 1-0 win over Wigan Athletic.

Defender Eric Lichaj started and played the entire 90 minutes for Nottingham Forest in a 2-0 loss to QPR, while midfielder Gboly Ariyibi did not feature (not even in the bench) for the Forest.

Germany

Bundesliga — Christian Pulisic played the entire ninety minutes for Borussia Dortmund in a 0-0 home draw with FC Koln.

Midfielder Fabian Johnson was not part of the Moenchengladbach roster (sidelined due to injury) that won 2-1 over Mainz. John Brooks did not feature (due to thigh injury) for Hertha Berlin in their 2-0 away loss to Werder Bremen, while forward Aron Johansson did not feature (on the bench) for Hertha Berlin in the encounter.

Bobby Wood was not part of the Hamburg roster (not even in the bench) that loss 4-0 to Augsburg. Terrence Boyd did not make the match day roster for Darmstadt in their 3-0 home win over Freiburg. Defensive midfielder Timmy Chandler started and played the entire 90+ minutes for Eintracht Frankfurt in their 1-0 away loss to TSG Hoffenheim. Alfredo Morales started and was later substituted in the 87th minute for Ingolstadt in their 0-0 barren draw with RB Leipzig. Morales was given a yellow card in the encounter.

Bundesliga II — forward Julian Green made the match day roster (on the bench) but did not feature for VfB Stuttgart in their 3-2 away win over Nurnberg. Midfielder Russell Canouse (on loan from TSG Hoffenheim) did not feature (on the bench) for Bochum in a 4-2 home win over Dynamo Dresden.

Andrew Wooten was not part of the Sandhausen roster (not on the bench) that loss 2-1 to Union Berlin. Jerome Kiesewetter did not start for Fortuna Duesseldorf but was later introduced in the 77th minute in their 1-0 away loss to Hannover 96.

Scotland

Scottish Premiership — midfielder Emerson Hyndman (on loan from AFC Bournemouth) started and played 58 minutes for Rangers Glasgow in a 5-1 loss to arch rival Celtic. Midfielder Perry Kitchen made the roster (on the bench throughout the game) for Hearts but did not play in their 2-2 stalemate with Patrick Thistle. Hearts striker Bjorn Johnsen was later introduced in the 80th minute in the encounter.

Other elite European leagues

Dutch Cup Final — Defender Matt Miazga (on loan from Chelsea) started and played the entire ninety minutes for Arnhem Vitesse in a 2-0 win over AZ Alkmaar to clinch the 2017 KNVB Cup.

Dutch Eerste Divisie — central midfielder Gedion Zelalem (on loan from Arsenal) played just 44 minutes for VVV Venlo in their 4-1 loss to Ajax Amsterdam II. Shane O'Neill played the entire 90 minutes for NAC Breda in a 4-1 home win over Oss.

Danish Superliga — midfielder George Fochive did not feature (not even on the bench) for Viborg in their 1-1 stalemate with Aalborg. Goalkeeper Steve Clark played the entire 90 minutes for Horsens in a 2-1 loss to OB Odense. Horsens midfielder Conor O'Brien started and was later substituted in the 73rd minutes of the encounter.

Swiss Super League — Caleb Stanko (on loan from Freiburg) started and played ninety minutes for Vaduz in their 3-1 away win over Lausanne Sport.

Swedish Allsvenskan — Roman Gall did not start for Sundsvall but was later introduced in the 86th minute in their 0-0 scoreless draw with AIK.

Norwegian Eliteserien — goalkeeper Alex Horwath did not feature (on the bench) for Brann in their 1-1 draw with Vikings. Stefan Antonijevic did not start the encounter but was later introduced in the 89th minute for Lillestrom in a 1-0 away win over Sogndal. Israel Ligat ha'Al — striker Aaron Schoenfeld did not start for Maccabi Tel Aviv but was later introduced in the 88th minute in their 2-1 loss to Hapoel Beer Sheva.
