The Chicago Blackhawks host the Nashville Predators in Game 2 of their best-of-seven NHL playoffs series on Saturday night. It will be an opportunity for either Nashville to go up 2-0, or the home team to tie up the series at a game apiece. The United Center crowd will be rocking as they look to help give their Blackhawks support en route to a big victory. Here's a look at the matchup with a Game 1 recap, Game 2 odds, and how to watch the latest Predators vs. Blackhawks game live streaming online or on TV.

Matchup & game odds

In Game 1, the Nashville Predators came away with a shutout win 1-0 on Chicago's home ice.

The lone goal was scored by right wing Viktor Arvidsson in the first period. After that, there was no more scoring action between the two teams as Pekka Rinne was brilliant between the pipes for the visitors. He finished with 29 saves to help his team maintain their lead right to the finish. Corey Crawford gave up just the one goal and had 19 saves on the day.

However, one of the major takeaways from this game was the fact that Chicago had 29 total shots compared to 20 for the Predators. The home team also won the face-offs 31-24 and if that aggressiveness keeps up in tonight's game, Chicago could be on their way to getting a needed win. After tonight's matchup, the two teams head to Nashville for two games, with Game 3 taking place at Bridgestone Arena this coming Monday.

For Game 2 of this NHL playoffs series, Chicago is listed as a -172 favorite on the moneyline. The Vegas Insider lists Nashville as a +155 underdog heading into the contest, depending on the sports book. The over/under goals total is set at five goals for the complete game. As noted above, just one goal was scored between the two teams in their first meeting several days ago.
