Mick Foley knows that his WWE career is over with but that doesn't stop him from wondering what could have been. When talking to Screen Geek about his career, he mentioned one match that he thinks could be great if he could ever step back into a ring and wrestle. According to Foley, he would love to wrestle Triple H again if given a chance.
Mick Foley vs. Triple H
It was just two weeks ago that Mick Foley faced off with Triple H on "Monday Night Raw." It was almost like old times, with Triple H insulting Mick and making fun of his broken down body and Foley deciding enough was enough.
When Triple H and his wife Stephanie McMahon were talking to the WWE Universe, Mick reached into his pants and pulled out an old friend in his sock named Mr. Socko. Foley then put it on his hand and applied the Mandible Claw to Triple H, much to the pleasure of his fans. It brought back memories of the WWE in the Attitude Era, where Foley wrestled as himself, Mankind, Cactus Jack, and Dude Love, and often made life hell for Triple H. It was HHH who actually ended the career of Foley many years ago. It would only make sense now for Mick Foley to show up at "WrestleMania 33" for revenge against Triple H.
The future of Mick Foley in the WWE
The entire WWE segment between Triple H and Mick Foley on "Monday Night Raw" was a way to write Foley off of television for a short time.
Stephanie McMahon fired him this past week for insubordination and this gives Mick a chance to leave and have the hip replacement surgery that he needs. However, that might have to wait because there are now rumors that Foley will play a part in a match at "WrestleMania 33." While those are just rumors, it is almost certain that the match will be the one with Triple H taking on Seth Rollins.
That was set up this week when HHH said that he would fight Rollins at "WrestleMania 33" only if Seth signed a contract that released the WWE from any liability since he will wrestle without doctor's permission. Since Foley was fired after attacking HHH, it only makes sense that he will take part in that match and possibly screw Triple H out of victory.
