In a hard fought match, the Arizona Coyotes beat the Anaheim Ducks 3 goals to 2. After losing to San Jose Sharks last Saturday in the Pacific Division, the Arizona Coyotes came back strongly Monday to beat the Anaheim Ducks.

After Mike Smith had left the field with an undisclosed issue, Marek Langhamer made a stunning NHL debut and saved some important shots in the dying moments of the match to give his team, the Arizona Coyotes a much-needed win over the Anaheim Ducks.

After the game, Langhamer said he was happy to see his team play a great game and he was satisfied with his own performance.

Langhamer made seven saves in the match. Earlier, Mike Smith had 27 saves before he left the field. After the match, it was visible that Smith looked fine and seemed ready for the upcoming games.

Arizona Coyotes takes 3 – 0 lead in the first period

After their poor show against the San Jose Sharks, the Arizona Coyotes were all pumped up and took a 3 – 0 lead in the first period of the game. Ryan Getzlaf then fought back to bring life into the game with two beautiful strikes in the second and third periods.

There is no doubt Ryan Getzlaf is the go-to player for the Anaheim Ducks. Captain Cool, led from the front, scoring both the goals for his team and hitting five powerful strikes on goal.

Coach Dave Tippett all praise for Marek Langhamer after three goals to 2 win

After his team’s victory over Anaheim, the Arizona Coyotes coach, Dave Tippett was all praise for Marek Langhamer. Langhamer who joined the Arizona Coyotes only last week was called up from the AHL as a backup after Louis Domingue suffered an injury.

The coach felt that Langhamer looked in touch from the word go and did not seem nervous at all. During the final stages of the match, Langhamer made some terrific saves that helped his team hold on to their three goals to 2 lead and win the game.

This was Coyotes first game after their star player, Michael Stone was traded to Calgary.

He was their main player in defense since he made his debut in 2011.

After these three goals to 2 victory over Arizona over Anaheim, the Coyotes take on the Blackhawks in Chicago, and the Ducks will be hosting Boston.
