The Huskers are close to signing Xavier Nwankpa who praised the team's winning culture. He also added that the Huskers are getting stronger as a team. It's worth noting that the Iowa-based safety has been in contact with the Nebraska Cornhuskers since 2019. That's when the school made an official offer to him. During that visit, Nwankpa said that he will be coming back to Lincoln for another visit in 2020. Meanwhile, it's been announced that quarterback Noah Vedral will transfer next season.
