Disney and Lucasfilms is currently working on their planned "Rogue One" prequel series. it's the prequel series to the prequel film. Production has been halted due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, they did announce they are bringing back Mon Mothma. The series is rumored to finally reveal that it was her that brought Andor to the Rebel Alliance. The upcoming series is described as a spy thriller, with plenty of action and chases. The series is set to be released next year.
