The Six-String Siren

Diana Rein, also known as “the six-string siren,” is a singer-songwriter and musician. She was born in Romania and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Currently based in Temecula, California, her signature sound is a blend of blues rock and indie blues.

Rein’s rock resume

Rein started her career in music playing acoustic rhythm guitar in the Windy City. Her rock resume includes two full-length albums and several singles. Her premiere platter is titled “The Back Room.” It includes eight of her earliest original compositions. It hit the record bins in 2007.

Her most recent release is named “Long Road.” The disc features 12 tracks. It dropped in 2016.

Rein has played both as a solo artist and with a band. She has regular gigs at various venues including Fitzgerald’s, Joe’s Bar, Lucille’s, and The Double Door. She has also performed at numerous colleges and festivals. More recently she was also featured for the month of April in this year’s Guitar Girl Magazine Calendar.
