On Saturday, close to one million protesters around the United States took to the streets in opposition to the one-year anniversary of Donald Trump's inauguration. In defense of the president, internet sensation and Fox News contributor Tomi Lahren lost her cool in a series of tweets pushing back at the Women's March.

It was just one year ago when the unthinkable became a reality. Despite all the polls and experts saying otherwise, Donald Trump defeated Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton to become the 45th President of the United States.
In the year that has followed, the opposition to the former host of "The Apprentice" has only grown, with Trump's approval rating dropping to just 35 percent in the most recent round of polling. While this has been the case, Trump's base remains as loyal as ever, sticking by the side of the president regardless of the facts and evidence that is presented that exposed elements of his administration that are controversial to the majority. On Saturday, Trump woke up on the one-year anniversary of his presidency with a government that had just shut down only hours earlier after Democrats and Republicans were unable to strike a deal. As millions protested in various cities across the country in the second annual Women's March, Tomi Lahren, a die-hard Trump supporter, sent out several tweets on January 20 opposing the rallies.
Ironic these Libs and feminists are turning out for a “women’s” march when they insist gender is a social construct and believe there are 64 to choose from. Hmm. Interesting. #womensmarch

Taking to Twitter on Saturday, Tomi Lahren expressed her disdain for the Women's March while praising Donald Trump.
"Ironic these Libs and feminists are turning out for a 'women’s' march when they insist gender is a social construct and believe there are 64 to choose from. Hmm. Interesting," Lahren tweeted.

In response to a statement saying that 2017 was an "incredibly difficult" year for women, Tomi Lahren went on a pro-Trump rant over the president's impact on the stock market and deporting illegal immigrants.
"As a woman, I am pretty freakin' ecstatic about economic and job growth, a booming stock market, and a president who puts the safety of AMERICANS over illegal immigrants," Lahren wrote. Not stopping there, Lahren went on to post a meme defending female members of the Trump administration, including Ivanka Trump and Kellyanne Conway.
Really Jess? As a woman, I am pretty freakin' ecstatic about economic and job growth, a booming stock market, and a president who puts the safety of AMERICANS over illegal immigrants. #MAGA https://t.co/tdRZPLt0Tj

After Tomi Lahren's tweets were posted, critics made sure to hit back. "Geez you're really throwing around 'successful' and 'accomplished' wildly," one tweet read.
your misinformed hyperboles show exactly how idiotic you truly are.

Is your IQ greater than 12 or so points? Seriously... I can’t imagine someone with even a small amount of intelligence saying what you just typed up here.

Your angry Barbie routine is tired and old . Just stop trying to pit military vs daca. Both contribute and sacrifice in their own way. A solution that is fair to both parties is best for the country . Also theirs republicans who voted against this terrible bill.

You’re not a feminist? Weren’t you let go from a job for having the opinion that the government should stay out of your body? Seems odd. Your right to have an opinion is important, and sadly, as a woman you were fired because of it.

Nope, not the proper use of the word ironic.
