"Days of Our Lives" spoilers reveal that the holiday season will be full of drama in Salem. As many "DOOL" viewers already know, it's nearly the holidays, and things are crazier than ever for many of the characters on the NBC soap opera. It seems that drama could bleed over into Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Eve as the show gears up for a huge surprise at the end of the year.
Vivian is back in action
According to the latest "Days of Our Lives" spoilers, some new faces are coming to Salem. "DOOL" fans can expect to see a blast from the past when Vivian Alamain blows back into town and stuns everyone with her shocking reappearance.
In addition, the soap is also getting a brand new character played by soap alum, Tyler Christopher. So far, Tyler's character is being kept under wraps, but "Days" head writer, Ron Carlivati says that all will be revealed around New Year's Eve when viewers get a major clue about Vivian's reason for returning and Christopher's mystery character. When the clock strikes midnight and the new year begins in Salem, a brand new storyline will begin to unfold.
A brand new role for Tyler Christopher
Some "Days Of Our Lives" fans believe that Tyler Christopher could be playing the role of Vivian's nephew, Nikolas Alamain, and it's even been rumored that he could be a recast for James Scott's former fan favorite character, EJ DiMera.
However, Ron Carlivati has put a rest to all those rumors running wild online. Carlivati has confirmed that the actor will be playing a brand new character that he created and even says that he's excited about what's to come for the first character he's written since being hired as the head writer for the show.
An emotional holiday season in Salem on the way
In addition to Vivian's return to Salem, "Days of our Lives" viewers have a lot to look forward to this holiday season. Will Horton will officially be back in town after the news is revealed that he is still alive. However, Will won't have any memory of his former life in Salem, and those closest to him will try their best to help him remember the life he left behind when he was "killed" by Ben Weston.
Meanwhile, Theo Carver will be fighting for his life in the hospital after being shot by JJ Deveraux. This will make for an emotional holiday season for the Carver family as they deal with their new reality and JJ is forced to face his guilt after the tragic shooting.
Viewers can watch all of the "Days of Our Lives" drama of the holidays unfold weekday afternoons on NBC.
