luann de lesseps has been keeping a low profile in Sag Harbor after filing for divorce from her husband, Thomas D'Agostino. Luann has revealed that she was devastated that their relationship didn't work out, as she got married with the idea that they would stay together forever. de Lesseps thought she had found her soulmate, but when D'Agostino didn't change his bachelor ways, she decided to file for divorce. Even though she's dealing with her own heartbreak, Luann is revealing that she's devastated about the shooting that took place in Las Vegas on Sunday.
The "Real Housewives of New York" star reveals that she's in Florida helping out with the devastation left behind by Hurricane Irma, but she thinks that people should use faith to get through some of these devastations. According to a new tweet, Luann de Lesseps decided to write that she has faith in people and she's convinced that the country can get together and fight these kinds of crimes.
Counting on religion?
It seems odd that Luann de Lesseps is calling on religion and faith as a way to get through these kinds of issues. Of course, people who believe in God and have a religion they follow may have been praying for change. But as one follower points out, faith isn't going to change the gun laws in the country.
I have faith in the world & the people that live in it! ❤️ we can get thru these horrible disasters when we bond together #help #lovenothate

I agree with you but don't lose faith! 🙏🏻 dig deeper ❤️

Of course, this is a discussion that people want to have.
With the largest mass shooting in American history behind them, victims are now ready to fight to get more security, tighter gun laws and more conversations about gun control going. However, it sounds like it may be an uphill battle. While Luann de Lesseps may have meant well by her tweet about faith, it doesn't do much about a big problem.
Divorce is finalized
Earlier today reports surfaced that a judge had finalized Luann de Lesseps' divorce from Thomas D'Agostino. While the two aren't romantically involved anymore, Luann has revealed that they text one another and stay in touch. He has denied that he's engaged to another woman, even though reports claim that he has been spotted with several women with big rings. It sounds like he has enough respect for Luann to not get engaged while they were going through their divorce proceedings. No word on how de Lesseps is celebrating her independence.
What do you think about Luann de Lesseps' tweet about having faith after the biggest mass shooting in American history? Do you think she was just saying something to acknowledge that this shooting had happened?
