Since confirming their relationship last year, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not appeared in public together in an official engagement, but that will soon change, as according to The Daily Mail, the couple is going to make their first ever official joint appearance later this month in the Invictus Games in Toronto.
Prince Harry, who has just celebrated his 33rd birthday, will be in Toronto, September 22-30, Kensington Palace announced. Meghan Markle, on the other hand, will be shooting scenes for the TV series “Suits” in the Canadian City during these days.

No official announcement
Kensington Palace released additional information on Twitter about Prince Harry’s activities during his stay in Toronto, but there is no mention of a joint appearance of the prince and the American actress.
According to the report, there was supposed to be an official announcement however, this was stalled because of the concern that it would overshadow the 20th anniversary of Princess Diana's death.
After the couple is done with their respective works in Toronto, it is thought that Markle may go and spend more time in London with the prince in his Nottingham Cottage in the palace grounds, the report further said.
Prince Harry’s passion project
The Invictus Games is an international sporting event for wounded, injured and sick Service personnel, which was founded by Prince Harry in 2014 and is considered as the prince’s “passion project.” Its goal is to make these servicemen and women “use the power of sport to inspire recovery.”
The prince is expected to deliver a speech in the game’s opening ceremony as well during the closing rites.
According to Kensington Palace, Prince Harry will also meet some of the 550 participants and watch them compete across 12 sports.
Apart from the Invictus Games, it was also announced that the prince will have a few additional events, including a visit to the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in Toronto, present awards during The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award, and attend the Canadian Institute for Military and Veteran Health Research (CIMVHR) Forum.
Good as engaged?
Many are speculating that the couple is already as “good as engaged” because of reports that Markle is a regular guest at Prince Harry’s bachelor quarters and have met and are in a good relationship with Prince William and Kate Middleton, who lives nearby.
In addition, the report also said that Meghan Markle had already met Prince Charles and Camilla and that the Prince of Wales just wants his son to settle down and be happy. Charles and Camilla, however, were said to have held back from their expressing views in order to give the prince his own space and make his own decision.
